Welcome to The Blog of Steel!

Hola, folks. My name is David C. Hayes and I am the director of the upcoming presentation of It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's... Superman the Musical at the Community Theatre of Howell in Howell, Michigan. We are so incredibly excited to get to work with this material and will be using this blog as a way of keeping Super-fans, Super-friends and Superman aficionados up to date with the production and our journey in bringing the Man of Steel to the stage. As far as we can tell, this will be the first production of the Superman musical EVER in the Midwest and we're excited about that. So, bookmark our page and join us for Superman trivia, Superman history lessons and, of course, our journey in being in that small handful of people that get to play in the world of Metroplis, Krypton and The Daily Planet. So, get ready to hear from our crew on a regular basis. Joining me are Assistant Director Jon Arking, Producer Theresia Rogers and Publicity Director Molly Scruggs on the blog with special guest posts from our cast and crew from time to time.
